Enchanted by the glamour of the European High Fashion and Beauty Houses that were taking place near asia in the 60s and 70s, a love story was ignited that would take Maggie around the globe in search for the best technologies and techniques that would transform the beauty industry.

Since its inception, Estetica’s founding principle is to benchmark every product and treatment by the science behind it. This has resulted in Nobel Prize winning collaborations with world renownedscientists, brands and research institutes. Estetica has been regularly featured in local and global media as a pioneer in research of beauty cosmetics technology and innovations and remains the only beauty retailer in Singapore with a joint lab with global leading A*STAR research institutes

Maggie starts her beauty career as a therapist and consultant at Plaza Parkroyal
Maggie opens her 1st beauty salon of 500 sq ft in Tampines
Opens 2nd salon in Tampines in 1987 with further expansion within the Singapore heartlands, including Hougang, Toa Payoh, Yishun, Choa Chu Kang and Bedok
Secures exclusive retailer and distribution rights for Ericson Laboratories (France), a leading cosmeceutical company started by Professor Ericson, an acclaimed scientist specialising in cellular therapy
Relocation of ESTETICA salons into the city and suburban malls
ESTETICA announces investments into anti-ageing technologies and skincare R&D in collaborative partnership with Agency of Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR)
Awarded Top 100 Singapore Excellence Award
Estetica’s in-house brand of skincare products is rebranded as est.Lab, with 5 comprehensive and revamped skincare ranges and 1 eye-care range. Awarded Singapore Brands Award
Appointed a Member of the Hospitality & Tourism Academic Advisory Committee to oversee the crafting of curriculum and mentorship of students in Singapore’s skills-based institute, ITE.
